Our research, entitled Political Rights of Copts in Contemporary Egyptian Islamic Political ThoughtTo present the most prominent Islamic intellectual political products in contemporary Egypt, which was addressed by the mentioned thought, and the extent of its impact on the rights of Copts and their enjoyment of those rights and acquisition,Accordingly, the importance and purpose of the study was to present a comprehensive study of the political rights of Copts in contemporary Egyptian Islamic political thought, and to fill the shortfall in dealing with the issue of Copts' political rights from an intellectual point of view.Political thought is one of the intellectual sources of any human group consisting of societies and peoples, depending on the pot of power and the function that exists and the role assigned to individuals to be performed by them,Under certain terms and conditions. The intellectual basis that played an influential role in the lives of societies and peoples is the religion that embraces and condemns individuals with absolute loyalty and blind obedience.The Egyptian society is one of those societies that constitute the intellectual building according to the Islamic religion and the three built on it. It was manifested by adherence to the good ancestor and the historical precedents of the rule of Islam in its early times and the interpretation of jurisprudence by the jurists and their jurisprudence.The study began from the basic premise that the contemporary Egyptian Islamic political thought did not represent a single trend in its discussion of the political rights of the Copts, which contributed to the diffusion of various intellectual visions in addressing and addressing these rights.The study was divided into four demands, The first requirement discussed the right to citizenship, The second is the right to proportional representation and multiparty representation,And the third demand was the discussion of the right to assume leadership positions, The fourth requirement was to discuss the right to secession and the formation of a Coptic state.
