The organizational belonging is considered of important topics in educational administration for its impact on performance and productivity.
The current study aims to identify the extent of organizational Loyalty among faculty members in Jordanian universities, and indicate whether there were statistically significant differences in the perceptions of faculty members about the degree of organizational Loyalty depending on the type of t University (public and private).
Descriptive analytical approach was used in this study to draw results using a simple random sample consisting of (347) faculty members.
Data of the study tool, represented by the developed questionnaire, were processed using appropriate statistical methods.
The results of the current study showed that the overall degree of organizational Loyalty among faculty members in Jordanian universities was average where emotional Loyalty ranked first followed by moral Loyalty while the continuing Loyalty ranked last.
The results of the current study also showed statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) attributed to the impact of the type of the university in all domains in the tool as a whole, where differences were in favor of the private universities.
In light of these results, the researcher provided a set of recommendations that could benefit those involved in the current study.
