اثر اللون في احكام فقه العبادات

This study deals with the effect of color on the rules of fiqh-Al-Ibadat (The Islamic jurisprudence of religious practices). Religious practices in this study refer to the special rituals of praying, which include purity (cleansing), salah (prayers), zakat (Alms- giving), saum (fasting) and Hajj (pilgrimage). The study consists of an introduction and a preface, three chapters and a conclusion. The preface includes the importance of the subject, the rationale, the limitations of the study and its method, a plan, and a review of the previous literature on the subject. The introduction contains the explanation of the linguistic and scientific meaning of color, its importance, and the degree of its consideration in the rules of Islamic fiqh. The first chapter explains the effect of color on the rules of purity, the second chapter deals with the effect of color on the rules of prayers, and the third chapter focuses on the effect of color on the rules of zakat (Alms- giving), saum (fasting) and Hajj (pilgrimage). The conclusion reports the findings of the study. The study concludes that color has a direct effect on the rules of Fiqh- Al- Ibadat, effectively describing them, and that color indicates a mark of a religiously legislated order as became apparent throughout the study.
