Applying Fuzzy AHP for outsourcing vendor selection

Outsourcing has been one of the critical issues in organization management. As outsourcing vendor selection becomes more widespread, customers, the general public, and politicians have increasingly questioned and criticized firms’ outsourcing decisions to foreign locations. The aim of this paper is the selection of the best outsourcing vendor for a food company using Fuzzy AHP. Results show that the factors related to customers (delivery and service factors) are the most important factors.
