Nickel- zinc ferrite (Nix Zn1-x Fe2O4) and 0 x 1 Nanoparticles were prepared by the thermal treatment method by using a solution that contained poly(vinyl pyrrolidon) (PVP) as a capping agent and nitrates as alternative sources of metal. Heat treatment was conducted at 550 C°, and final products were characterized by different characterization techniques, i.e.,X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Final products had different crystallite sizes ranging from 7 to 20 nm as were confirmed by TEM analysis. The formed
nanoparticles confirmed the presence of unpaired electrons spins as demonstrated by using an electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR)
