Evaluation Urban Space Satisfaction among Elderly in Karaj, Iran

The objective of this research is to evaluate the level of satisfaction among the elderly in the main city of Alborz province (Karaj), Iran. A sample of 400 households (n = 400) was chosen and employed cross sectional design conducted in 2017. Designed questionnaires were left with participants. The questionnaires were included of two sections with elderly information in section (1), and satisfaction with urban space in section (2). In this research %53.1 was male and %46.9 was female. The mean score for urban space satisfaction 1307043. The results indicates that the levels of educational and employment status affect on urban space satisfaction. This research argues that urban space is a significant factor in improving residential satisfaction among elderly.
