چكيده لاتين :
The inhibition performance of three Schiff bases of the mild steel in 0.5 M sulfuric acid solution was
investigated using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), potentiodynamic polarization, weight loss and FTIR
spectroscopy methods. The results revealed that these compounds exhibit good corrosion inhibition. The effect of
temperature (25-55οC) on corrosion parameters was examined. Polarization curves showed that all of the compounds are
mixed type inhibitors. The adsorption of inhibitors on the surface obeys Langmuir adsorption isotherm. The values of
activation energy and the thermodynamic parameters, such as ΔGads, ΔHads and ΔSads were calculated.
