Robust Color Super-Resolution from a Single CCD

In this paper, we address the problem of estimating a super resolution image from a set of low resolution frames taken from a scene. We propose unified method of demosaicing and super-resolution based on the adaptive M-estimation framework. Our method is a hybrid of super resolution and demosaicing. For this purpose we propose to use a fidelity term in estimation process based on a new adaptive norm. As the result of experiment shows the proposed regularization term can preserve sharp edges well without producing color artifacts.
