The main objective of the present paper is to simulation of the hydrodynamics of the
internal airlift reactor(ALR) for two configuration and different velocities. Special attention has
been paid on the liquid circulation velocity and the liquid velocity in the riser. comutational fluid
dynamics(CFD) tools are used for modeling results. Modeling results are compared with the
experimental data. The CFD modeling results show excellent agreement with the experimental
data on gas hold up and liquid velocity in the riser.
