In this paper, the concomitants of order statistics and record values of Farlie-Gumbel-Morgenstern (FGM) family of bivariate distributions are considered. We extend the results of Fashandi and Ahmadi (2012) and obtain some new characterization results for symmetric distributions. The results may be used for testing symmetry of the population from which the data are coming.
