Biosynthesis of cobalt nanoparticles(CoNPS) with small size and bio stability is very important and used in various biomedical applications. In this work, we report an easy and simple green synthesis method for cobalt nanoparticles (Co NPs) using the zingiberofficinale extract. Ginger includes gingerol that acts as redusing agent. In the present method there was no need to the addition of any stabilizing agent e.g. surfactant to stabilize the synthesized CoNPs. Therefore, green synthesis of cobalt nanoparticles with ginger extract, as an alternative to chemical synthesis, is benefical from its biologicaland medical applications point of view. The optimum conditions for synthesize of the CoNPs were obtained by studing the PH and amount of zingiber extract solution. Characteristic and morphology of CoNPs were investigated XRD/ VSM/ EDX/ FT- IR/ SEM.
