In this research Zn(BDC) metal–organic framework has been used as a novel, mild and environmentally friendly catalyst for an efficient one-pot synthesis of indole derivatives under solvent free conditions. This method provides a noble and improved method for the synthesis of indoles in terms of excellent yields, short reaction times and little catalyst loading
