Key elements in the internationalization of higher education include faculty,
students, curriculum development, and international alliances supported by the
public. For academic contributions, further studies concerning internationalization
of hospitality and tourism higher education are required. Little is explored on the
Asian and Middle eastern tourism-founded IHE. Higher educational institutions
will increasingly utilize the internationalization process in the hospitality and
tourism programs [16]. The internationalization of hospitality and tourism
programs in line with IHE will be a frontier for implementing effective higher
educational developments. This will help overcome the serious challenges (e.g.,
globalization impacts, graduate capacity building, meeting industry demands) that
today’s developing societies encounter [6,12]. These challenges need the
multilateral work of educational institutions, government, and the industry to
policy-make for the future creative pathways of higher science and technology
education on a tourism ground. Brain turnover and drain, loss of identity,
unplanned and undesirable competitions, higher education commercialization,
self-interest pursuing, and integrity issues are among likely threats of tourismembedded
IHE (Table 3). These obstacles require careful systematic education to
be kept from forming, eradicated or at the very least be minimized. Ultimately,
internationalization in higher education empowered via science-founded tourism
will be a powerful capital to expand global human resources and intercultural
perceptions of human society
