A CHARCTERIZATION OF FOURIER-STIELTJES ALGBRA an‎d ITS APPLICATION TO BSE ALGEBRAS

In this paper, we present a characterization of the Fourier-Stieltjes algebra B(S), the linear span of the continuous positive denite complex-valued functions on a foundation semi- group S. As an application, we establish armatively a question raised by Takahasi and Hatori that whether L1(R+) is a BSE- algebra. Further results on BSE algebras are considered
