In this talk by using the notion of homogeneity prop- erty of the isosceles orthogonality, we derive some characterizations
of inner product spaces. We prove that a weakened hypothesis of the homogeneity of the isosceles orthogonality and a weakened re- formulation of the Ficken characterization can still characterize in- ner product spaces. Finally, we present a characterization of inner product spaces related to an angular distance equality
