Let A = UjAj be the polar decomposition of operator A on Hilbert space H and 2 (0; 1). The -Aluthge transform of
A is dened by A~ := jAjUjAj1. We state here an inequality for unitarily invariant norms of -Aluthge transform of operators,
from which we conclude an inequality for usual operator norm of such transforms
