Let A be a C-algebra and E be a Hilbert A-module. Suppose that T; S are bounded adjointable operators on Hilbert A
module E. We show that if R(T) + R(S) and R(T) + R(S) are orthogonally complemented, then R(T) + R(S) = (TT + SS)
1 2 . We also give a necessary and sucient condition for the closedness of the product of two operators T; S when A is a C-algebra of compact operators
