Due to the geographic location of Iran and its proximity to the equator, according to has about 300 sunny days per year, is one of the world s best countries in solar energy production. Nowadays, it is possible to work with the minimum amount of money and with the help of solar energy for the creation of home-based businesses. It is one of the important concerns to earn money and to create home-based and low-cost jobs for livelihoods. Therefore, the designer idea to manufacture a fruit and vegetable dryer with minimum cost and maximum productivity can help to create micro businesses and household economies. Due to the disadvantages of existing designs for available drying machines for rural use, including low productivity, structural complexity, difficulty in using for general public, non-portability and, above all, the high cost of supplying them, in this paper, a new design of the dryer with minimum cost and maximum capacity with a very simple structure has been designed. It utilizes renewable sunlight energy for drying fruits and vegetables, and distributes evenly the temperature between floors, resulting in the same drying of products.
