This research has been done in order to synthesize nanoparticles of Germanium sulfide in the first step the particles of Germanium sulfide were provided by the sol-gel and Solvothermal method based on the method which has been reported. Then, they were investigated by the methods for studying properties including The Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), analyzing X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), analyzing Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), microstructure and morphology of Germanium sulfide structures, crystal structure of the synthesized structures Ges2. The research results showed that we can synthesize the Germanium sulfide by the methods of Sol-Gel and Solvothermal and use them in solar cells, since they have more light absorption than the other similar materials.
