A Three-Dimensional Model of Farahzad in Translation Criticismbased on CDA in Persian Translation of the Book Gambler

This paper studies a three dimensional model for translation criticism inspired the ideological implication of translational choices and how they represent identities in target societies. Also, translation criticism can look into how the source texts are present in target societies. The three-dimensional model uses the concept of intertextuality to explain the relation between the proto text and the metatext, examines translational choices made by the translator, and analyzes them in the light of CDA to identify ideological complications. In this study, the Farahzad`s CDA model was applied on the Persian translation of Gambler by Jala Al Ahmad. Here, some sentences are selected randomly, and evaluated and compared based on CDA model of Farahzad. First, this model will be elaborated, and then, the selected sentences are applied.
