A comparative study on psychological capita on the mental health of Pesoriyasimen patients and non-infected people

The purpose of this study was comparing the mental health of those who were infected by a dermis disease named Pesoriyasimen and that of those who were not infected by this ailment. This research was a cross-comparison study and the subjects included Pesoriyasimen infected patients who referred to Imam Khomeyni hospital and non-infected people who attended the training workshops of the Health Council Center between 2015 and 2016. The subjects consisted of 50 infected and 50 non-infected persons who were chosen randomly. In order to collect the data a mental health questionnaire was used and the data analysis through multi-variant variance revealed that there was a significant difference between the mental health of the infected and uninfected persons. Therefore, it could be concluded that the Pesoriyasimen infected patients comparing with the non-infected people scored lower in the questionnaire, which shows the unfavorable situation of their mental health. This conclusion embraced crucial items in education and promotion of the mental health of Pesoriyasimen infected patients.
