On semisimple Lie group actions on manifolds of nonpositive curvature

we are going to study some G -manifolds of nonpositive curvature under the condition that G is semisimple with finite fandamental group. We prove that if M is nonpositively Riemannian G manifold with unique singular orbit suth that G is semisimple with finite fandamental group then, M is simply connected.
