The objective of the study was to investigate the competition management performance in two levels of planning and control, as well as its roles in increasing spectators’ aggression from the perspective of sports managers. The aims were examining the competition management performance to explain aggression theories and prioritizing factors involved in developing aggression from sport manager s viewpoints. Some theories related to aggression occurrence are instinct theory, social learning theory, the frustration aggression theory and catharsis theory. The research seeks to answer the following questions: Two what extent are the aggression theories true about the spectators? To what extent can the management performance influence disorders and aggressive behaviors? What approaches are useful in reducing aggression? The research sample included 25 sport managers and 25 chairmen of soccer boards. Data gathering tool was a questionnaire which incorporated items from management performance. Data analysis was undertaken using descriptive statistical methods along with chi-square statistical. Results of the research showed that there are significant differences between sport managers’ viewpoints. Data analysis showed that sport managers have acknowledged a set of factors as effective on aggression occurrence. According to sport managers, lack of planning, weakness in control and monitoring would contribute to the aggression described by the theories. The subjects of study considered planning variables weightier than control variables. Some of the major factors in creating aggression according to the respondents include lack of suitable planning for training referees, lack of sufficient training to the police, lack of appropriate complex blueprint and Enter/ Exit signs, not executing the necessary punitive measures for coaches, lack of appropriate planning and supervising over the selling of tickets and lack of proper facilities, dining places and bath rooms.
