The aim of this study was to determine factors which affect persuasion of physical education students toward sport networks. the study included 100 physical education students whom have been using social networks at least 1 hour per day. Social, educational, legal, governmental and financial factors were identified as the main persuading factors, and marketing and economic factors, online games, virtual communication and charming environment were identified as the major attracting factors. Also, factors including moral issues, family issues, security issues, weak internet, mental illness and lack of proficiency in English language were identified as the main deterring factors. Today, many users with different purposes get signed in virtual social networks and get themselves engaged in different activities. An important feature of social networks is that they have provided a place to share knowledge. The diversity of users and shared knowledge are very high in social networks; therefore, we can see the importance and necessity of these networks as tools to improve teaching and learning. We can see the importance of the issue more clearly, when we see that youth and students who are the most important human capital for development of every country, constitute a large percentage of the users of these media. Therefore, the results of this study indicate that in addition to elimination, reduction and control of deterring factors, persuading and attracting factors must be strengthened and reinforced.
