Design in the desert on the concept of sustainable architecture

زيست و توسعه پايدار امروزه در محافل علمي جهان همواره مورد بحث و كاوش بوده و نظريات مختلفي از ابعاد گوناگون ارئه گرديده است. قطعاً حفظ منابع طبيعي خدادادي، عدم آلودگي محيط زيست، حداقل مصرف انرژي هاي فسيلي و هم زيستي با شرايط طبيعي و اقليمي از طريق تدابير شهرسازي و معماري از موارد مهم در طراحي و ساخت مجتمع هاي زيستي بوده و بايد مورد توجه و اجرا توسط طراحان و مجريان قرار گيرد. معماري كويري ايران حاوي بسياري ويژگي هاي منحصر به فرد است كه ضمن توجه به نيازهاي زيبا شناختي با ظرفيت هاي طبيعي و اكولوژيك بستر خود نيز منطبق است. در واقع اين معماري نه تنها از كيفيت هاي محيط طبيعي خود نكاسته بلكه ماهيت آن را نيز ارتقاء بخشيده است. تكنيك هاي به كار رفته در اين معماري در واقع بسياري از مفاهيم نوين در عرصه معماري پايدار را در بر مي گيرد كه در اين مقاله به آن پرداخته شده است.
