در دوران معاصر يكي از مسائلي كه در مورد جامعه بشريت وجود دارد مسئله مسكن مطلوب است. تنوع فضايي درخانه‏هاي معاصر اندك است و ساكنان هم اعتنايي به اين نارسايي ندارند. آنچه تنوع ناميده مي‏شود تفاوتهاي جزئي درنور، رنگ و اختلاف يك تا دوپله درسطح است. در اين تحقيق سعي شده است تا به يكي از اساسي ترين مسائل در طراحي مسكن يعني كاربردي بودن فضاهاي يك خانه از طريق ايجاد روابط خوانا و كارا براي به دست آوردن رضايت مسكوني پرداخته شود. ايجاد آسايش روحي و رواني از طريق طراحي فضاهاي كاربردي درقالب يك مجتمع مسكوني، بالا بردن سطح امنيت رواني و اجتماعي از طريق برطرف كردن نياز به مسكن مطلوب، دسترسي آسان به امكانات رفاهي و خدماتي از طريق طراحي مراكز خدماتي باري، جلوگيري از اتلاف وقت و ايجاد آرامش، ارتباط و بهره گيري از طبيعت از اهداف پرداختن به اين موضوع مي‌باشد.
