امروزه نقش كاركردي فضاهاي شهري به عنوان مكاني براي فعاليت هاي عمومي در عرصه تعاملات اجتماعي شهري، بيشتر از گذشته مورد توجه طراحان و مديران شهري قرار گرفته است؛ بدين سبب حتي مي توان تأكيد داشت كه فعاليت هاي مردم هر شهر در دوران مختلف توسط فضاهاي شهري باز شناسي مي شود و فضاهاي شهري نيز به واسطه فعاليت ها و علاقه شهروندان قابل معرفي مي باشد. براين اساس رابطه تنگاتنگي ميان كيفيت و نقش فضاهاي شهري و توسعه فرهنگي، اجتماعي و سياسي يك شهر وجود دارد. اما علارقم اعتقاد بسياري از صاحب نظران به اينكه بالاترين مرحله بلوغ فرهنگي، اجتماعي شهروندان يك شهر در فضاهاي شهري به وقوع مي پيوندد، اغلب شاهد غفلت از اهميت فضاهاي شهري، كاهش و تنزل كيفيت فضاهاي شهري و تأثير اين مهم بر كارآمدي مديريت شهري مي باشيم. فضاي شهري، همان جايي كه علاوه بر فرم و كالبد داراي مفهومي وسيع تر با عنوان محتواست. مقاله حاضر بدنبال بررسي عوامل ارتقاي نقش كاركردي فضاهاي اجتماعي شهري و رابطه آن با احياي ارزش هاي هنري جامعه و نيز تأثير اين مهم بر كارآمدي مديريت شهري است. اين پژوهش با توجه به اهداف، از نوع كاربردي است و روش جمع آوري اطلاعات بصورت ميداني و تكنيك مورد استفاده ابزارهاي پرسشنامه و مصاحبه مي باشد. علاوه بر آن هفت فضاي اجتماعي شهري براساس چهار هدف اصلي پژوهش از طريق پرسشنامه مورد بررسي و تحقيق قرار گرفتند. نتايج بدست آمده بيانگر تأثير مثبت و معنادار فضاي اجتماعي شهر بر ارزش هاي هنري جامعه مي باشد كه براساس آن ها نقش كاركردي فضاهاي شهري مي تواند ارتقا يافته و كارآمدي مديريت شهري بويژه از ابعاد اجتماعي فرهنگي تا حد قابل توجهي حاصل گردد.

Today, the functional role of urban spaces as a place for public activities in the field of urban social interactions is more than ever considered by designers and urban managers; therefore, it can be emphasized that The activities of people of every city in different times are redefined by urban spaces, and urban spaces are also known through the activities and interest of citizens. Accordingly, there is a close relationship between the quality and role of urban spaces and the cultural, social and political development of a city. However, many scholars believe that the highest level of cultural and social maturity of citizens of a city in urban spaces is often seen as neglect of the importance of urban spaces, decreasing and decreasing the quality of urban spaces, and its impact on the efficiency of urban management. . Urban space, where, in addition to the form and body, there is a broader concept of content. The present article seeks to investigate the factors enhancing the functional role of urban social spaces and their relationship with the revival of the artistic values ​​of the community as well as its impact on the efficiency of urban management. The purpose of this research is applied and the method of collecting information is field and the technique used by the questionnaire and interviewing tools. In addition, seven urban social spaces were studied through a questionnaire based on four main objectives of the study. The results show that the social space of the city has a positive and significant effect on the artistic values ​​of the society, based on which the functional role of urban spaces It can be improved and the efficiency of urban management, especially from social and cultural dimensions, can be achieved to a considerable extent.
