از زمان صفوي و با رواج خط نستعليق در كتيبه نگاري بناها، زيبايي خاصي بوجود آمد كه هم باعث خوانا شدن كتيبه‌ها نسبت به خط ثلث شد و هم به دليل روان‌خواني بيشتر مورد توجه مردم عامه قرار مي‌گرفت. كتيبه بناهاي حمام خان سنندج و مسجد روستاي ترجان با توجه به تاريخ ذكر شده مربوط به دوره قاجاريه مي‌باشد و محتواي آن در ستايش باني ساخت بنا بوده‌است. نگارنده با توجه به مطالعات كتابخانه‌ اي و همچنين بررسي‌هاي ميداني انجام شده در تلاش است تا بتواند سيماي واقعي بانيان ساخت اين بناها را روشن كند؛ شواهد موجود نشان از آن است كه تعريف و تمجيدي كه در متن كتيبه‌هاي مذكور از بانيان ساخت اين بناها شده به حق بوده و بيان كننده محبوبيت اين افراد در جامعه آن زمان بوده است.
