بررسي و مطالعه ويژگي¬هاي مسجد اسماعيل بيگ شهر بناب

هر مقاله باي تاريخ بشريت از آغاز تاكنون با فرهنگ «عبادت خدا» يا خدايان متعدد در هم آميخته و اين آميختگى ¬آن¬چنان است كه امكان جداسازى را از بين برده است. انسان از ابتداي پيدايش به دنبال مكاني براي نيايش بوده و همواره در طول تاريخ سعي كرده با ايجاد بناهايي به عنوان مساجد محلي براي پرستش خالق بي¬همتا بوجود آورد. بناي مساجد در اسلام براى اولين بار در محلة «قباء» در نزديكى مدينه برپا شد. بنايى كه بسيار ساده بود و در مدتى اندك، جايگاه عبادت مسلمين به امامت رسول¬خدا(ص) شده بود. عناصر معماري مساجد اسلامي با پديدار شدن يكي پس از ديگري، پيشرفت¬هاي قابل ملاحظه¬اي را در معماري و امور ساختماني و تأسيساتي بناها به وجود آورده¬اند. مساجد از مهم¬ترين بناهاي مذهبي هر شهر يا روستا هستند كه همواره نقش مهمي در زندگي مسلمان ها داشته است. اغلب مساجد در مركزيت شهرها و نزديك بازارها و محدوده دارالحكمه ساخته مي¬شده¬اند. پژوهش حاضر به بررسي قدمت و معماري مسجد اسماعيل¬بيگ شهرستان بناب واقع در استان آذربايجان¬شرقي پرداخته است، قدمت مسجد مربوط به دوره صفويه بوده و در دوره¬هاي قاجار و پهلوي به صورت جزئي مرمت شده است از ويژگي¬هاي بارز مسجد اسماعيل¬بيگ تزئينات مقرنس¬كاري زيبا با منقوش¬هاي از گل¬و¬گياه در سر¬ستون و زير سقف اين مسجد طراحي شده¬اند كه چشم هر آدمي را به حيرت در مي¬آورد، ويژگي ديگر مسجد سقف چوبي آن مي¬باشد كه به طرز ماهرانه ¬اي توسط معماران آن دوره ساخته شده است. نتايج تحقيق حاكي از آن است كه پي بنا با مصالحي همچون سنگ، آجر، ملات ماسه، آهك و سقف مسجد از چوب بوده و همچنين شبستان مسجد بر روي 8 ستون استوار است.
