بررسي رفتاري سد‌هاي خاكي در مقابل بار‌هاي ديناميكي مانند زلزله از جمله مباحث مهم در حوزه علم ژئوتكنيك و مهندسي خاك مي‌باشد. در اين راستا مدل‌هاي تحليلي و عددي گوناگوني بسط و توسعه داده شده است كه مزايا و معايبي را در بطن خويش دارند. لذا بررسي‌هاي مجزايي مورد نياز است تا مدل‌هاي موجود را مطالعه و تا حدودي دقت و صحت حل اين مدل‌ها را با نتايج حقيقي مورد بحث و بررسي قرار دهد. در اين تحقيق آناليز ديناميكي چند سد خاكي موجود مورد بحث و مطالعه قرار مي‌گيرد و نتايج حاصل با داده‌هاي رفتار نگاري مقايسه مي‌شود. در انتها دقت روش‌ها و ميزان اعتماد به نتايج آنها ارزيابي مي‌گردد.
