عناصر تاريخي شهرها در برگيرنده ارزشهاي تاريخي و فرهنگي و نماد هويت و تبلور فرهنگ شهري بوده و ميراثي گرانبها براي نسلهاي بعدي به شمارمي آيند. آنها پيامهايي ازدانش نسلهاي گذشته همراه با تجربه ، هنر و حس مكان به نمايش مي گذارند، اما امروزه به دليل از دست دادن كاركرد و نقش خود در شهر دچار فرسودگي كالبدي ، عملكردي و اجتماعي و كاهش حس مكان وحس تعلق شده اند . حس مكان رابطه عاطفي شخص به مكان و يكي ازعوامل موثر در ارتباط انسان و محيط است كه يكي از معيارهاي ارزيابي محيط هاي با كيفيت مي باشد، فضاييكه در فرد اين حس را ايجادمي كند تبديل به يك مكان مي شودكه مردم تمام واقعيات و اتفاقات را به آن مي شناسند. آنچه دراين پژوهش مطرح است ارايه راهكارهايي جهت ساماندهي عناصرتاريخي با احترام به بافت و كالبد با رويكرد افزايش حس مكان و حس تعلق مي باشد، تا باعث افزايش سطح كيفيت محيطهاي انساني گردد و اين روند را درشهرتقويت نمايد.اين پژوهش درحوزه پژوهشهاي كيفي و به صورت تحليلي- توصيفي صورت مي پذيرد و درپايان راهبردهايي در جهت افزايش حس مكان و حس تعلق ارائه گرديده است.
