In this paper tensile properties of glass/polypropylene thermoplastic composites have been investigated. Tensile tests performed based on ASTM D3039 standard and specimens were made of glass yarns and polypropylene (PP) filaments. The fabric was weaved by knitted method and then heated in a close die under pressure. The fiber volume fraction of specimens was 21%. The tensile test was formed for pure PP base on ASTM D638. It was observed that composite specimens have very good tensile behavior. Also, the results show this type of composite [resented a very good toughness.
