In this study, the non-linear effects of piezoresistive PDMS/MWCNT sensing element were evaluated. The sensing element is a sandwich-structured film containing an ultrathin layer of piezoresistive nanocomposite and is a type of conductive polymer nanocomposite (CPNCs). In order to manufacturing sensing element, first, a CNT suspension was prepared and then the piezoresistive film was made using vacuum filtration method. Finally, non-linear effects of the piezoresistive sensing element such as voltage drop, which is mainly due to creep and hysteresis, were evaluated and the results were discussed.
