Multi-component reactions (MCRs) are powerful synthetic tools for the diversity-oriented synthesis (DOS) to generate combinatorial libraries [1]. They play a key role in drug discovery. MCRs are highly convergent and atom efficient generating high molecular complexity in a single-step process.Among MCRs, the Ugiand Passerini reactions, are the most popular approaches for the combinatorial chemistry [2,3]. In continuation of our recent research on development of novel multicomponent reactions, in this reaction we wish to report a simple and efficient One-Pot four-component reaction of, Aniline 1, Isocyanate 2, Aldehydes 3and Indomethacin 4 to yield novel 2-oxo-1- phenylethyl)-N-phenylacetamidederivatives. All products were confirmed by1H NMR, 13C NMR spectroscopy, melting point andFT-IR spectroscopy.
