In recent years,the hetrogenizationof homogeneous catalysts has attracted immense
attention[1].Recovery and reuse of expensive catalysts after catalytic reactions are important
factors for sustainable process management.The surface of themagnetic nanoparticles is
usually coated with a layer of silica to prevent aggregation. Because of the importance
ofmagnetic catalysts, the synthesis and characterization ofthese types of catalyst are of
interest, and there have beenmany reports dealing with this area[2]. In the past decade,
transition-metal-catalyzed C−Hfunctionalization has been developed as an attractive
andpowerful strategy, because this method permits more-efficient synthesis of functionalized
molecules by minimizingthe number of synthetic steps[3].In this paper, to prepare a
heterogeneous catalyst , Fe3O4 nanoparticles coated by silica (Fe3O4@SiO2), then reflux in
three stages , with (3-Aminopropyl)trimethoxysilane (APTMS), PhNCO and copper(II)
acetate were functionalized nanoparticles.The new magnetic catalyst was charactrized by FTIR,
XRD,TGA,VSM,EDX,SEM,We used new magnetic catalyst for synthesis of aryl
isothiocyanate derivatives.
