The graft copolymers have been extensively investigated, due to specific morphology,and their widespread application in various fields, especially inpharmaceutical[1]. Graft copolymers are a branched copolymer where the components of the side chain are structurally different than that of the mainchain [2,3]. In this study, biodegradable and biocompatible copolymers of amylose/ethylenediamine-graftedpoly(aspartic acid) were successfully synthesized by aminolysis reaction of amylose and ethylenediamine ontopolysuccinimide.We using reductive amination reaction to the preparation ofend-functionalized amylose.The chemical structures of thiscopolymers were confirmed by FT-IR and1H NMR spectroscopy andother analyzes.These copolymesr were then investigated for their ability as a drug carrier.
