In this study, MgO/PEG/GO nanocomposit was synthesized by a sol-gel process with three chemical compounds that had adsorption property. Microstructure of synthesis nanocomposite was investigated by XRD, SEM and FT-IR. The XRD pattern confirms crystalline structure of MgO and GO. The SEM images validate formation of MgO particles on GO layers in Nano size. The analysis EDX is shown in the presence of Magnesium and FT-IR result shows expected structure. The MgO/PEG/GO nanocomposite will be used for adsorption of heavy metals ion.
