Hydrogen is one of the most important renewable energy. It can be produced from various sources. Methane is a good source for hydrogen production from Partial oxidation. Kinetic study of the selected method for hydrogen production is an essential investigation for hydrogen production in large scale. In this work, for the first time, the kinetic study of partial oxidation of methane over LaNiO3 catalyst was done. The results show that it is a good agreement between experimental data and kinetic model reported by Tavazzi et al. This study is a good introduction to the mechanism investigation of the mentioned reaction on the LaNiO3 catalyst.
