From Theory to practical-challenges in IoTImplementation

Working on IoT solutions and implementing different pilots through LTE network, a need for having a comprehensive survey on different relevant challenges has been realized. In this paper, rather than introducing IoT technology, and its architectural reference model, a comparison with M2M technology is proposed. Afterward, from different aspects such as Network, data, and regulation, challenges are provided and relevant solutions in each of them are proposed. In the challenge table, each section in value chain of IoT ecosystem are illustrated.It is insisted that talking about truly IoT based services needs more maturity from Standardization bodies, Vendors, Operators, CPE providers, Regulators. The main role belongs to Governments according to their critical responsibility in intersectional connections.Without having correlation between different industries, IoT would not happen
