The Relationship between Personality Traits and General Health with Internet Addiction among Students

اين پژوهش با هدف تعيين رابطه ويژگي هاي شخصيتي و سلامت عمومي با اعتياد به اينترنت در بين دانشجويان دانشگاه آزاد اسلامي واحد تنكابن انجام شد. پژوهش حاضر از نوع توصيفي– همبستگي بود و تعداد 210 نفر به عنوان نمونه به روش نمونه گيري خوشه اي انجام شد و براي جمع آوري اطلاعات از پرسشنامه هاي اعتياد به اينترنت كيمبرلي يانگ(IAT)، ويژگي هاي شخصيتي آيزنك فرم كوتاه (EPQ-RS) و سلامت عمومي(GHQ) استفاده شد. براي تجزيه و تحليل اطلاعات به دست آمده از آزمون همبستگي پيرسون و روش رگرسيون چند متغيري با استفاده از نرم افزار تجزيه و تحليل آماري SPSS vol 20 انجام شد. نتايج تحقيق نشان داد كه بين ويژگي هاي شخصيتي و سلامت عمومي با اعتياد به اينترنت در بين دانشجويان رابطه وجود دارد، و از بين مؤلفه هاي ويژگي هاي شخصيتي(متغيرهاي روان گسسته گرايي، روان رنجورگرايي) و از بين مؤلفه هاي سلامت عمومي متغير (اضطراب و اختلال خواب ) بيشترين ميزان رابطه و بهترين پيش بيني كننده براي اعتياد به اينترنت هستند. از آنجايي كه پيشگيري بر درمان مقدم است و با توجه به نتايج اين مطالعه جا دارد كه اين پديده به عنوان يك مشكل رواني مورد توجه قرار گيرد و از طريق آموزش صحيح، فرهنگ استفاده مناسب از كامپيوتر، اينترنت و امكانات آن جايگزين شيوه هاي غلط گردد.

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between personality traits and general health with Internet addiction among students of Islamic Azad University, Tonekabon Branch. The present study was descriptive-correlational and 210 individuals were selected through cluster sampling. For data collection, the Kimberley Young Internet Addiction (IAT) questionnaire, the Eysenck Short Personality Characteristics (EPQ-RS) ) And General Health (GHQ). Pearson correlation test and multivariate regression analysis were used to analyze the data using statistical software SPSS vol 20. The results of the research showed that there is a relationship between personality traits and general health with Internet addiction among students, and among the components of personality traits (psychological variables of discrepancy, neuroticism) and variable components of general health (anxiety And sleep disorders) are the highest ratio and the best predictor of Internet addiction. Since prevention is a priority, and according to the results of this study, this phenomenon should be considered as a psychological problem and, through proper education, the proper use culture of the computer, the Internet and its facilities should be replaced by wrong methods.
