In this paper, the amount of water conversion into methane hydrate is measured for the systems of water + methane and water + methane + silver nanoparticles. In order to investigate the effect of synthetized silver nanoparticles on water conversion into methane hydrate, aqueous suspension of silver nanoparticles with concentrations of 45 µM and 90 µM were tested in a 460 cm3 stirred batch reactor. The experiments were conducted at a temperature of 275.65 K and an initial cell pressure of 7 MPa. An isochoric-isothermal method was employed to measure the water to hydrate conversion. Oure experimental results showed that utilization of silver nanoparticles with concentration of 45 µM and 90 µM, respectively increases the amount of water to hydrate conversion 7.1% and 9.3%, compared to pure water.
