In this study genetic algorithm was used to predict interaction parameter of non-random two liquid (NRTL), universal quasi chemical (UNIQUAC) and Wilson for the system of water-formic acid- 1-decanol at T=298.2 ̊c and atmospheric pressure. Comparison of data from GA code with the experimental data shows that the optimization process by GA has very good agreement with experimental data. The value of the parameters of these models was evaluated with the root mean square deviation (rmsd) method. The results shows that rmsd for NRTL, UNIQUAC and Wilson models are 0.00038, 0.0016 and 0.018 respectively
