In the present study, the tie line data of the systems (water + lactic acid + alcohols [octanol or nonanol or decanol]) [6] were investigated using GMDH type neural network. The RMSD value (as a measure of the precision of the correlations) was obtained 0.43% that shows good agreement between experimental and calculated points.
