In this work, Fe3O4 nanoparticles were synthesized via a simple precipitation method in water as a green solvent. The effect of concentration, temperature and precipitating agent, capping agent on the morphology and particle size of the magnetic products was investigated. Bio compatible poly vinyl pyrrolidone was used as green and safe capping agents. The prepared magnetic products were characterized by Xray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and alternating gradient force magnetometer (AGFM).
