Natural productions with peptidic origin often represent a rich source of medically relevant compounds. The synthesis of such polypeptides in nature use Ribosome or independently Ribosome. Producing peptide by Ribosome is based on 20-22 Amino acid which is widely found in living creatures. One example of peptides that are produced by this method are Lasso peptides, which have a Macro-lactam ring in their structure, with a c-terminal threaded across. Xanthomonin II peptide is an example of lasso peptides. In this study we are going to investigate this peptide’s stability in water and membrane like solvents, using Molecular Dynamics simulations.
