The main concern of the present research was to probe the probable differences between Iranian monolingual and bilingual learners of English as a third language regarding their gender in syntactic knowledge. It was an attempt to investigate the impact of bilingualism regarding their gender on Iranian EFL Learners third language acquisition. To meet the mentioned aim, a total of 349 female and male monolingual and bilingual learners from Markazi province were invited to participate in this study. They were Turkish – Persian bilinguals and Persian monolinguals. Nelson proficiency test (C 150), background questionnaire, Grammar test were administered for both groups. Data analysis through utilization non- parametric Mann-Whitney was indicated that monolinguals outperformed their bilingual peers in grammatical structures
