In this paper, a broadband 30-1000 MHz power amplifier was designed. The results of simulation are compared with the measurements. In this work a commercially available LDMOS transistor (BLF645) is used. The amplifier can deliver 60W to a 50 ohm load with 40% efficiency and has 20dB gain. The transmission line transformer is used to implement broadband matching network. A linear model is developed for simulations. This model is provided by the NXP Company
