In this paper, a novel voltage/frequency control is presented for distributed resources (DRs) in an islanded multibus microgrid (MG). Its operation principle and control method are explained and analyzed. The proposed scheme reduces coupling between active and reactive power control and also dependence of power sharing to system parameters. Moreover, it leads considerable improvement in the reactive power sharing among DRs and voltage regulation at microgrid buses simultaneously. To enhance dynamic and transient performance of microgrid, a complementary dynamic structure is added to the voltage/frequency control characteristics. Parameters of the proposed control schemes are determined based on an optimization problem and dynamic analysis of microgrid. Simulation results demonstrate efficiency of the suggested voltage/frequency control scheme respect to the conventional droop method.
