In this paper a high step-up floating output interleaved input coupled inductor based boost converter with passive clamp circuit is proposed. The proposed converter uses the passive-clamp circuit to eliminate the voltage ringing that is caused by the coupled inductors leakage inductance. The switches in the converter will operate with significantly low voltage stress with a proper duty cycle for high step-up applications. The proposed converter features, operating principles, and analysis are discussed in the paper and to justify the validity of theoretical analysis simulation results of 200W converter is presented.
