Nanocomposites carbons are suitable for applications in many areas of modern science and technology. In the present investigation, an ultrasonic irradiation was used for the modification of the mesoporous carbon FDU-15. nanocomposite films of the poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) and modified FDU-15 were prepared by solution polymerization technique. The surface morphology of the hybrid materials were evaluated by different methods. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and field emission-scanning electron microscopy images confirmed the presence of large pores and a relatively ordered mesostructure for the functionalized materials. TEM images showed the well-ordered hexagonal arrays of mesopores FDU-15.
